Skill India
Skill India is a Government of India initiative launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi
on 15th July, 2015.
Since its inception, MSDE (Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship) has
undertaken significant initiatives and reforms in terms of formalising the policy
framework and standards; launching of new programmes and schemes: creating new
infrastructure and upgrading the existing institutions; partnering with States; engaging
with industries and building societal acceptance & aspirations.
IICS is proud to align with the Skill India initiative, contributing to the growth of a
skilled workforce in the Media and Entertainment industry. Our programs are designed to
bridge the gap between traditional education and industry demands, providing students with
practical, job-ready skills. Through hands-on training and exposure to the latest industry
trends, we empower students to become versatile professionals who can adapt to the dynamic
nature of the creative arts sector.
